We recommend 5-6 months old, when they can hold their head up, to 3 or 4 years old. They have to have help getting in, so they generally lose interest around that time.
All hardware and rope is rated 120# or better. They will outgrow it before weight becomes an issue.
Fill the kitchen sink with warm, soapy water. Place the entire swing in the water (ropes, wood and hardware). Swish around and concentrate on wear areas (front and side bars). Rinse with cool water. Place on a towel for a few minutes to absorb excess moisture. Hang to dry. Surface
clean the pillow periodically. You can also wash the pillow in the washing machine on cold/gentle and air dry.
